Terms and Conditions
General terms and conditions of the private limited company PT Bobobox Mitra Indonesia
1. Definitions and Interpretation
1.1 In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires, the following expressions have the following meanings:
“Bobobox Pods” – means the Bobobox location to which the reservation applies;
“Guest” – means a staying guest as stayed in the Bobobox booking confirmation;
“Legally Binding Contract” – Bobobox has agreed to provide Guest with an accommodation at the selected Pods or at any other accommodations in the area with similar Rates. If for some unforeseen reasons, Bobobox can’t fulfill its obligation, Any sums paid in advance to Bobobox shall be refunded to the Guest.
“No Show” – means a guest who fails to arrive at the hotel on the date of arrival of their reservation without prior notice to Bobobox.
“Pod” – means the Bobobox room which the guest stays;
“Rates” – means the prices payable for rooms and (where applicable) other facilities offered by Bobobox;
2. Bookings and Reservations
2.1 Guests may make reservations in advance through walk in, Bobobox’s website www.bobobox.co.id and Bobobox’s app (android and iOS).
2.2 When making reservations, Guests will be required to provide identification information including, but not limited to, their name, address, contact telephone number, nationality, occupation and email address.
2.3 All reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking;
2.4 Reservations booked in advance do not constitute a Legally Binding Contract between Bobobox and the Guest until Bobobox confirms the reservation with the Guest and provides the Guest with a booking reference.
2.5 Reservations may be changed by the Guest at any time prior to arrival (subject to the cancellation provisions set out in Clause 4 below). Bobobox will use all reasonable endeavours to accommodate any changes requested but gives no guarantee that all changes will be accommodated.
2.6 Reservations are not required. Guests may make bookings on arrival however Bobobox cannot guarantee the availability of rooms or other facilities for such bookings.
2.7 Guests may request additional nights at Bobobox at any time during their stay. Bobobox will use all reasonable endeavours to accommodate such requests.
2.8 Bobobox accepts reservations for groups of more than 3 rooms but only with an appointment by walk-in, phone, or email.
2.9 A maximum of 2 adults are allowed to stay in 1 pod. Child under 12 years old are allowed to stay for free using existing bedding. A maximum of 1 child is allowed per pod. Child over 12 years old are considered as an adult.
3. Fees and Payment
3.1 Details of Rates including, where applicable, promotional Rates and other special offers are available from Bobobox’s website and app (android and iOS), the rates and prices are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah.
3.2 Rates and prices quoted when making reservations apply only to accommodation unless otherwise stated. Additional charges may apply for items including, but not limited to, merchandise, food, and drink.
3.3 Bobobox may from time to time offer promotional Rates. The following provision applies:
3.3.1 Additional nights requested under sub-Clause 2.7 above shall be charged at the standard Rate.
3.4 Bobobox may offer non-refundable Rates. The following provisions apply:
3.4.1 Advance payments made under sub-Clause 3.4 above are non-refundable.
3.4.2 Any deposits or booking fees taken at the time of reservation are non-refundable.
3.5 The following payment methods are accepted by Bobobox:
3.5.1 Credit, Bank Transfer and Debit Cards – Visa, Mastercard, Maestro (others are soon to be confirmed)
3.5.2 We accept Cash at Bobobox
4.1 Subject to sub-Clause 4.2 below, reservations may be cancelled without charge provided the Guest gives at least 24 Hours notice prior to the date of arrival of their reservation. Any sums paid in advance to Bobobox shall be refunded to the Guest.
4.2 In the event that the Guest has paid in advance under the provisions of sub-Clause 3.4, no refunds shall be made in the event of cancellation.
4.3 Failure to provide the required notice of cancellation 24 hours before the day of arrival shall result in the Guest being charged for one night’s accommodation at the Rate specified in their reservation.
4.4 In case of a No Show no refund shall be made.
4.5 Early Leaver, in the case a Guest decides to shortened the stay, the next 24 hours after the official cancellation will still be charged, but the remaining nights will be refunded.
4.6 Bobobox may, in an exception case, cancel a reservation. In the event of such cancellation, the Guest shall be informed immediately and shall be offered a full refund of any and all sums paid. Where a refund is offered under this sub-Clause 4.6 only, the provisions of sub-clauses 3.4 and 4.2 pertaining to advance payments shall not apply and a refund shall be payable.
4.7 If a guests wants to cancel the booking, they can contact us on phone number 022-xxxxx-xxx, a cancelation email will be sent to the guests and replicable refund can be proceed to the guests.
5. Check-in and Check-out
5.1 Guest can check-in at Bobobox from 14.00.
5.2 Check-out time at Bobobox is noon 12.00 . Failure to check-out by 12.00 may result in the Guest being charged for an additional charge as follows:
5.2.1 Up to 18.00: 50% charge of the best available room rate
5.2.3 More than 18.00: 100% charge of the best available room rate
6. Bobobox Pods Rules
6.1 Drugs, prostitution, and other illegal substances/activities are strictly prohibited. Failure to adhere to this requirement may result in a Guest being asked to leave Bobobox in which event all sums due shall become immediately payable and no refund for the booking shall be made.
6.2 Guests are required to conduct themselves in a reasonable and responsible manner at all times when on Bobobox’s property and must not act in any way which may disturb other guests. Failure to adhere to this requirement may result in a Guest being asked to leave Bobobox in which event all sums due shall become immediately payable and no refund for the booking shall be made.
6.3 Smoking is strictly not permitted in the pod and any indoor public areas of Bobobox except in designated smoking area. Failure to adhere to the requirements of sub-Clause 6.2 shall result in as follows:
6.2.1 Rp. 1.000.000 fine will be imposed
6.2.2 The Guest being charged for any and all costs incurred by Bobobox in cleaning the room (including, but not limited to, fixtures, fittings and soft furnishings) and restoring it to a smoke-free environment.
6.2.3 The Guest being asked to leave Bobobox in which event all sums due shall become immediately payable and no refund for the booking shall be made.
6.4 No animals are allowed at Bobobox.
6.5 Children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
6.7 Guests shall be charged for any and all damage caused by them to Bobobox’s property during their stay.
6.8 It is mandatory for a guests to present valid photo ID at the time of check-in.
7. Merchandise, Food, and Drink
7.1 Unless expressly indicated otherwise, merchandise, food, and drinks are not included in any Rates and will be charged for in accordance with sub-Clause 3.2 above.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 To the fullest extent permissible by law, Bobobox’s liability for any loss or damage suffered by Guests shall be limited to that which arises out of the negligence of Bobobox’s employees, subcontractors or agents.
8.2 Notwithstanding sub-Clause 8.1 above, Bobobox shall not be liable for any indirect loss or damage which may be suffered by a Guest including, but not limited to, loss of income, loss of business, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data or loss of enjoyment.
Bobobox may, from time to time, change these Terms and Conditions without notice, however it will use its reasonable endeavours to inform Guests as soon as is reasonably possible of any such changes.
10. Data Protection
Bobobox will not share Guests’ personal data with any third parties for any reasons without the prior consent of the Guest concerned.
11. Law and Jurisdiction
11.1 These Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual matters and obligations arising therefrom or associated therewith) shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the Indonesian law.
11.2 Any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claim between the Parties relating to these Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual matters and obligations arising therefrom or associated therewith) shall fall within the jurisdiction of the courts of The Republic of Indonesia.
Data Storage and Processing
Bobobox records personal information in order to be able to provide certain services, e.g. guest accommodation, information requests, price enquiries, etc.
These details may also be used to provide targeted information and special offers about our products and services, or to ask you your opinion about our products and services. Details may be used for the aforementioned purposes by Bobobox itself or by third parties acting on its behalf.
